I think about Star Wars a lot. Probably too much. Probably
more than is healthy. To me, that seems like a pretty good reason to start blogging about it.
One of my earliest memories is playing with my uncle's old
Star Wars figures whilst watching Return of the Jedi on VHS tape. I have a
clear memory of seeing Jabba the Hutt and not having a clue what was going on.
But was it ever exciting! A few years passed and that same uncle bought me a
Speeder Bike set for my birthday. I was hooked. I'm now 24, a film and media
lecturer and my favourite film is still Return of the Jedi.
There is a lot to look forward to on the horizon with Star
Wars and a lot to look back on too, both good and bad. And for what it's worth I'll be keeping this
blog and sounding off on what I think about some of it. My record for actually
keeping up with blogs in the past is patchy at best, but I'll see what I can do and
hopefully be posting back here with you all soon.
